BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Federal court documents obtained by WAFB detail an alleged plot by four former guards at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison to hide inmate beatings.
Federal authorities announced the arrests of Aaron Johnson, Darius Powell, Kenyaki Domino and Lionel James. All four were former employees of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, according to court documents.
Johnson was fired by the department in March of 2023. Domino was fired in August of 2024. Powell was fired in March of 2023. James resigned in April of 2024 instead of being fired…
