BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A new education tool could open the door to a career in healthcare for more people in the Baton Rouge area.
Ochsner and the Baton Rouge Community College have teamed up to launch a mobile healthcare lab. Ochsner Health invested $472,500 to make the idea a reality.
“This mobile training lab is an investment in the future of healthcare and a continuation of our commitment to strengthening the capital region,” said Dianne Teal, the chief nursing officer for Ochsner Baton Rouge. “By bringing hands-on training directly to the next generation of healthcare professionals and expanding pathways into nursing and allied health careers, we are helping build the workforce our patients depend on.”…
