This Baton Rouge museum will celebrate Juneteenth with a grand opening of a new location

The Baton Rouge African American Museum will celebrate a new beginning on Juneteenth.

The museum is moving to a new location at 805 St. Louis St., and will host a grand opening ceremony at 5:30 p.m. June 19. The event will include tours of the new facility, entertainment, speakers and refreshments.
