BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) is wrapping up the department’s Citizens Academy this week, giving residents a look at what goes into training officers.
Participants took part in one of the academy’s final activities Tuesday night: a “shoot, don’t shoot” exercise designed to put them in an officer’s position and require split-second decisions.
