PORT ALLEN, La. (WAFB) – An investigation has been ordered following the death of an inmate in West Baton Rouge Parish.
According to deputies, the inmate was discovered unresponsive inside a cell just after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 5. They added that a cellmate alerted staff members about the situation.
