BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported inmate death on Sunday, July 5.
According to the sheriff’s office, WBR Correctional deputies were called to an unresponsive inmate in a cell on Sunday evening. The cellmate notified deputies, who immediately administered first aid while emergency medical services were on the way, WBRSO said.
