BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of copper wire in East Baton Rouge Parish, deputies said.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Adam Kelley, 42, faces charges of theft, criminal trespass, and possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance.
During the investigation, deputies said they connected Kelley to the theft of thousands of dollars worth of copper wire from a private property. The sheriff’s office said detectives also tied the case to recent incidents in which copper wire was cut from Cox Communications infrastructure…
