Two inmates allegedly dragged another inmate from his cell block and raped him in the East Baton Rouge Prison, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
James Merritt, 22, and Letrell Baker, 20, were both arrested on counts of first-degree rape and second-degree battery. Baker is being held with a $600,000 bond. Merritt is being held with an $800,000 bond.
