BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Families across Baton Rouge will have a chance to stock up on school supplies and enjoy a day of community fun as SNUG, BBE AJ, BadKid Macei and friends host the third annual Back 2 School School Supply Giveaway this weekend.
The free event is set for Saturday, July 25, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at McKinley Middle Magnet School, located at 1550 Eddie Robinson Sr. Drive.
Organizers say the goal is simple. Help students head back to class with the supplies they need while easing some of the financial pressure many families face as a new school year begins…
