BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The family of a man who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in East Baton Rouge Parish launched a GoFundMe account.
On July 25, a man who was later identified as John Le Nguyen, 39, was reportedly walking along Greenwell Springs Road before being hit by a vehicle. Police said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping or calling for help.
After the crash, Nguyen’s family started the fundraiser with a goal of $2,600 that would go towards funeral expenses and supporting Nguyen’s children…
