BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Sgt. Kandice Wisher stood in formation at the Baton Rouge National Cemetery on Sunday to honor the life of Philemon Thomas, a revolutionary war veteran who is buried in Baton Rouge.
The ceremony was one of several held simultaneously at national cemeteries across the country, marking the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed 250 years ago.
