Sheriff’s Office says traffic stop on “deportable” Russian truck driver led to one of Louisiana’s largest meth seizures

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office recently conducted one of Louisiana’s largest meth seizures after a traffic stop on a semi truck.

The incident was reported by the  Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, August 11th on Interstate 12 eastbound in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, a LPSO K9 Division officer conducted a traffic stop on a semi truck and discovered that the truck driver was a Russian nationalist in the country illegally. The truck driver was identified as Anton Vitalyevich Rakov and was taken into custody due to his “deportable” status…
