NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is now in effect for parts of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi as thunderstorms become increasingly likely this afternoon.
The watch includes areas north of Interstate 12, including Baton Rouge, as well as portions of the Northshore and south Mississippi. The watch remains in effect through 8 PM Friday.
