BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana Parole Project is highlighting Second Chance Month by helping formerly incarcerated people rebuild their lives after prison. April is a national effort to raise awareness about the barriers people face after serving time, including housing, jobs, and education.
This year, the nonprofit is celebrating 10 years of service. It provides reentry support like securing IDs, health care, and employment pathways to help people succeed.
