A final farewell for Spanky’s Daiquiris’ Prairieville location

PRARIEVILLE, La. (WAFB) – The popular Prairieville daiquiri shop called Spanky’s closed its doors for the final time after more than two decades in business, owners announced in a post shared on social media.

“This was not an easy decision. Spanky’s has been a huge part of our lives and this community since 2002. Over the years, we have shared so many great times together including crawfish boils, karaoke nights, Spanky’s idol, holiday parties, beach trips, and countless memories in between,” the post reads.

The Baton Rouge locations on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard and on Burbank Drive will remain open. Owners did not explain a specific reason for the closure, but wrote that it was the right decision for their family…
