Over two weeks after Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s deputies discovered a body underneath the Garcon Point Bridge, the department announced Friday that the man has been identified as a missing person from Louisiana.
SRSO deputies and the medical examiner identified the body as Grant Brignac, a missing person from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The department previously said he was in the area, last being seen on March 25 leaving the scene of an accident on Interstate 10. He was reported to be in danger due to having schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
