Baton Rouge woman pleads guilty to fatally shooting her fleeing neighbor

A Baton Rouge woman pleaded guilty to shooting her neighbor in 2024, after the other woman had turned her back to retreat following an argument.

Angelique Chatman, 40, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of manslaughter Monday and avoided a trial over her original second-degree murder charge.
