BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Thursday afternoon.
Police confirmed the incident happened on Hollywood Street between Longfellow Drive and Plank Road. It is an active investigation.
According to authorities, police responded to reports of a man walking down the street while allegedly firing shots. Officers approached the man and reportedly shot at him. No one was injured in the incident.
