COULEE CITY — A Renton man wanted in connection with a May shooting was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Coulee City with help from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Team and K9 Storm.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Benito Uriostegui of Renton was wanted by the Renton Police Department after allegedly firing a weapon at his ex-girlfriend’s family during a May 14 shooting in Renton. No injuries were reported.
Uriostegui later failed to appear for a court hearing, prompting a bench warrant to be issued for his arrest. The warrant included allegations of unlawful discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, second-degree malicious mischief-domestic violence, attempted burglary-domestic violence and two violations of a domestic violence no-contact order…
