SEATTLE — A Seattle elementary school teacher was hit while biking in Seattle on June 1 and later died from his injuries.
Christian Salyer, 30, was biking near 12th Avenue and East Yesler Way in Seattle when he was struck at 4:31 p.m., according to the Seattle Police Department. A 2019 Recology truck was involved in the crash, and the truck’s driver was evaluated for impairment at the scene.
