CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Valley Boys & Girls Club’s second annual UW/WSU Celebrity Golf Tournament raised a record amount of support for youth programs during an event held June 25 at Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course.
The tournament brought together former University of Washington and Washington State University athletes, community members, local businesses and volunteers for a four-person scramble competition benefiting the Boys & Girls Club.
Proceeds from the event will provide scholarships for children and families who otherwise could not afford Boys & Girls Club memberships, summer camps, after-school programs, youth sports, transportation and enrichment opportunities…
