Annual Seattle to Portland bike ride may cause traffic delays throughout the weekend

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Over 6,000 bicyclists are set to take to the streets this weekend as part of the Seattle to Portland (STP) Bicycle Classic. Drivers should expect delays along the route of the ride starting early morning Saturday, July 11, through the evening of Sunday, July 12.

The annual recreational ride is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the northwest, covering 207 miles and over 5,000 feet in elevation gain.
