KING COUNTY, Wash. — The city of Seattle is still working on a plan to repair the West Seattle Bridge after a thief stripped copper wire from the lights and bridge panels late last month.
Seattle City Light officials described the damage as “extensive” and estimated repairs from the wire theft will cost at least $100,000. In the meantime, the bridge’s streetlights remain out.
