SEATTLE — Seattle Children’s Hospital went into a precautionary lockdown and shelter-in-place Sunday afternoon after receiving an external threat from an anonymous caller, according to a hospital statement.

Seattle Children’s said the threat came in at approximately 2 p.m. The hospital said its Security Services team “followed protocol and immediately contacted the Seattle Police Department,” and the hospital entered a precautionary lockdown and shelter-in-place to ensure the safety of our patients and families, staff and visitors…
