Patches have let game studios latch onto to internet trends in the past, but this one has to be my favorite. Magic: The Gathering Arena, Wizards of the Coast’s virtual version of its titular trading card game, is using its medium to add a new Jimothy bundle to its store.
While some may think that Magic: The Gathering is just about constantly finding and buying different collectibles, one of the things that has drawn me to the game is how it aligns with philanthropic missions. Now, the internet’s pet, Jimothy, is getting his own bundle in Arena.
The home of Wizards, Seattle’s most famous raccoon, has taken over just about every facet of the city’s celebrations.
