About 1,400 bicyclists are expected to ride through Bellingham this weekend as part of an annual ride from Seattle to Vancouver.
The two-day Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party (RSVP) has been an annual staple of the Northwest biking community for the last 44 years. The event is hosted by the Seattle-based Cascade Bike Club, a statewide bicycle non-profit with nearly 10,000 members, according to their website.
Riders will be coming up from Seattle to Bellingham via Chuckanut Drive on Saturday afternoon and into the evening.
