The Slip in Kirkland is set to reopen this spring under new ownership.
The former owner closed the restaurant in September 2025 due to “health matters.” The concept is now being taken over by Ricky and Maria Eng, who also own BeachHouse Bar + Grill in Kirkland, according to a farewell Facebook post.
“Ricky and Maria are a wonderful local family already operating right here in Kirkland. They are deeply committed to honoring The Slip’s legacy while bringing their own energy, ideas, and care to the space—and a renewed commitment to being the best little burger spot in town,” the post read…
