WASHINGTON STATE — When 77-year-old Connie Singer and her fiancé, Monte Ferrell, set out in their car on the morning of Aug. 29, 2024, they had no idea the danger they were about to face.
Ferrell, 81, was driving and made a U-turn at a permitted location on Pacific Highway South in SeaTac. Their car was broadsided by a driver who police allege was traveling more than 90 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Singer was killed at the scene. Ferrell was taken to a hospital, where he died a few days later, surrounded by family…
