BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A man has been charged in connection to a 2023 murder of a pregnant woman in Norwood. The news comes just a few days after another woman was sentenced in connection to the same crime.
Court records show that Noland Octavious Moore is charged with capital murder while in the presence of a child less than 14 years old. It’s said that the victim, Justina Zenola Wallace, was also the parent or legal guardian of that child.
According to prior reporting by WBRC, the shooting happened on Friday night, July 7, 2023, in the 3200 block of 17th Avenue North. The situation reportedly began as an argument and domestic dispute, then shots were fired.
