Alabama was well-represented at the country’s most prestigious food awards on Monday night.
The 2026 James Beard Award’s Restaurant and Chef ceremony took place on June 15 in in Chicago, recognizing some of the country’s most talented chefs and beloved restaurants, including one in Alabama.
Bottega in Birmingham was a finalist in the category of Outstanding Hospitality for the 2026 James Beard Awards. However, the prize ultimately went to Providence in Los Angeles.
