BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A judge has granted the state’s request to consolidate two murder cases against a man accused of killing more than 10 people across Birmingham.
Damien McDaniel is accused in a string of homicides, including two mass shootings, with Birmingham Police at one point investigating his alleged killings as murder-for-hire.
The state sought to consolidate two of his cases into one trial. McDaniel is accused in the Five Points South mass shooting at Hush Lounge that took four lives, and the death of Jamarcus McIntyre, on 81st Place, less than 24 hours later.
