New Alabama bishop ordained: Auburn graduate returns home

Bishop Richard T. Lawson III was consecrated on Saturday morning to become head of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama.

Presiding Bishop Sean Lowe, head of the U.S. Episcopal Church, and other bishops laid hands on Lawson at the altar in the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham.
