The Alabama Department of Corrections gave ABC 33/40’s I-Team rare access to its efforts to stop contraband before it reaches inmates.
ABC 33/40’s I-Team was invited to William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility in Bessemer, where ADOC officials drove our crew around the outside of the facility, demonstrated security measures and explained how the department’s Contraband Interdiction Project works.
