BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham Fire and Rescue (BFRS) responded to UAB Hospital Sunday morning for a reported fire, according to a message sent to employees.
The message, obtained by WBRC, said first responders were on the scene for a fire in the basement of Jefferson Tower. It also said there were no injuries.
A WBRC photographer at the scene captured multiple BFRS vehicles as well as UAB Police and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
