HOOVER, Ala. (WBMA) — The Hoover City Council could vote Monday to remove more than seven acres from the city limits after a church and school requested de-annexation to pursue plans for a Christian school that does not conform to Hoover’s current zoning requirements.
Council members are scheduled to consider the second reading of Ordinance 26-2709, involving property at 7160 Cahaba Valley Road. The petition identifies the property owners as Trinity Presbyterian Church and Heritage Academy.
