BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Before country music artist Drew Baldridge takes stage at WorkPlay on Thursday, one of his friends plans to bring more life into the venue.
Chase Wright said his latest album, “Chasing Shadows,” is like a breakup record. Though Wright would probably highlight more of the track’s 18 songs if he was headlining a concert, he said opening a show requires a different set.
“You need to keep that energy high,” Wright said. “So, you might play a couple covers that people know. You might just play your biggest songs. So, I think just energy high the time, try to get the people going, get them loosened up, and then Drew can come out and do his thing afterwards.”…
