TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBMA) — One of the hottest stretches of the summer is finally showing signs of easing across Central Alabama, but not before the heat has produced some impressive numbers, including a streak in Tuscaloosa that hasn’t happened in 15 years.
Tuscaloosa has now reached 100 degrees on five consecutive days.
Those are also the city’s only five triple-digit days of 2026, putting Tuscaloosa on pace for its most 100-degree days in a year since 2019. It’s already the most through this point in the year since 2015…
