Six Birmingham metro area high schools ranked among the top 10 in Alabama, according to the 2026-27 U.S. News and World Report Best High Schools in America list.
U.S. News ranked nearly 18,000 public high schools out of more than 27,000 reviewed for this year’s report. The list includes public schools, charter schools and STEM focused schools.
