HOOVER – SafeHouse of Shelby County will host an evening of drinks and trivia during its third annual Brews, Brains and Bids fundraiser this weekend.
Brews, Brains and Bids will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 6 p.m. at Brock’s Gap Brewing Company at 500 Mineral Trace, Suite 100, in Hoover.
“We’re excited to announce our third Annual Brews, Brains and Bids, an evening of trivia, community and giving back in support of survivors of domestic and sexual assault,” said Mary Katherine Thorn, prevention, intervention and education coordinator. “The event will feature trivia, a silent auction and opportunities for community members to come together in support of SafeHouse’s mission.”…
