SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – A mother and her daughter are facing multiple drug charges in Shelby County, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections.
Agents with the ADOC Narcotics Unit had information that suggested Shannon Croskey was allegedly involved in efforts to promote prison contraband into ADOC facilities.
Officials said that when agents conducted a probably-cause traffic stop, Croskey’s daughter, Genita Croskey, was also in the vehicle.
During the stop, ADOC K-9 alerted agents to narcotics in the vehicle, including:
- 7.37 ounces Fentanyl
- 4.56 ounces Methamphetamine
- 2 ounces Oxycodone pills
- 27.7 grams Alprazolam pills
- 0.7 grams Suboxone strips
- One Ruger EC9s handgun
Both women were charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking oxycodone and two counts of trafficking a controlled substance.
