BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A new railroad crossing alert system is helping Birmingham drivers avoid some delays caused by stopped or approaching trains, city leaders say.
The city partnered with Trainfo to install electronic railroad crossing alert signs in Birmingham’s West End. The pilot program targets some of the city’s busiest and most problematic crossings.
