IRONDALE, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — A new storm shelter for the city of Irondale has arrived.
Weighing 35,000 pounds the shelter was recently installed at Beacon Drive next to the Irondale Senior Activity Center and across from Irondale Fire Department Station No. 1.
