Birmingham school board approves 2027 budget

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Birmingham City Schools Board of Education has approved their 2027 fiscal year budget.

The upcoming budget of $481.3 million is an increase in spending over their 2026 budget by $63.67 million.
