Jefferson County deputy arrested again one week after his first arrest

A Jefferson County sheriff’s deputy arrested last week was booked back into jail Tuesday on new charges.

Deputy Cameron Lee, 21, was initially taken into custody April 7 on a charge of use of official position or office for personal gain. In that case, he was reportedly accused of bringing fast food to an inmate for pay at the Jefferson County Jail in the Bessemer Cutoff, where he was a corrections deputy.

Lee was arrested again one week later on three new charges of use of official position or officer for personal gain, according to court records made public today…
