Minor Middle School goes into lockdown after two firearms found in student’s bag

Minor Middle School in Adamsville went into lockdown after two firearms were found in a student’s backpack.

After discovering the weapons this morning, April 16, Minor Middle immediately went into lockdown. The investigation determined that there was never any intent from the student to harm staff or students.

The identity of the student isn’t being released to the public. Principal Marty Everett said in a statement that the school district doesn’t issue criminal charges and that whether or not disciplinary action was taken is protected information under the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Acts…
