Birmingham police say they’re continuing to crack down on dangerous street activity through a targeted enforcement effort known as Operation Knight Rider.
The initiative, launched in 2024 under Police Chief Michael Pickett, focuses on illegal exhibition driving — things like street racing and stunt driving — which officials say has been on the rise across the city.
