Palm Beach design board greenlights two-story house for North End

Sometimes, a few small tweaks can transform a good home design into one worthy of praise.

That was the case with plans to replace a 1960s-era house at 142 Casa Bendita with a larger two-story home, which garnered the Architectural Commission’s conditional approval during a recent meeting. It was the second time the board had reviewed the design for the ocean-block cul-de-sac on the near North End.
