PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A Lake Worth woman on probation for a $10,000 fraud case was booked into jail after admitting to using cocaine and failing a drug test, her second violation under court supervision.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that Shelley Kay Weidler, 58, was taken into custody on June 9 at 7:36 a.m., according to booking records, after testing positive for cocaine earlier in May. She remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 18.
Authorities say Weidler failed the drug test during a scheduled probation check on May 6. A lab later confirmed the results, and she told her probation officer she had “slipped up” and used cocaine days earlier…
