WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested a suspect in a 2019 attempted murder and robbery that left a man beaten, stabbed, and unconscious behind an area near a beauty supply store.
According to the arrest report, on Dec. 20, 2019, the victim told deputies he was sitting in the parking lot of Elegant Beauty Supply on North Military Trail when he was suddenly struck from behind with an unknown object. The victim said an unidentified man then beat, stabbed and choked him until he lost consciousness.
The victim told investigators the suspect stole his cellphone, backpack and headphones. According to the arrest report, the victim regained consciousness, feeling dazed and confused and walked home, where a family member called 911.
