Boca Raton Realtor Charged With DUI After Crash

COPS: Blood Alcohol More Than Twice The Legal Limit After Boca Raton Museum Event.

According to the arrest report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol on Timmins Fife’s breath and noted her eyes were bloodshot and watery and her speech was slurred. She reportedly told police she had consumed “two glasses of champagne within the last two hours” while at the Boca Raton Museum of Art with friends, though she also insisted on multiple occasions that she “never drinks” and that two glasses was too much for her. Officers said she swayed noticeably while standing and talking throughout the encounter.

Timmins Fife agreed to perform standardized field sobriety exercises, including the walk-and-turn and one-leg-stand tests, and struggled with both, according to police, losing her balance and failing to follow instructions correctly. She was arrested and transported to the Boca Raton Police Department, where she submitted to a breath test. Her blood alcohol content registered at .202 and .215 — more than twice Florida’s legal limit of .08.

She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with driving under the influence and. DUI with property damage. She is scheduled to appear in Delray Beach traffic court next month…
